Announcing the presidential election result of Niger state , the returning officer of the election, professor Abdulganiyu Hambali said, General Mohammadu Buhari of APC got 657, 678 while president Goodluck Jonathan of PDP scored 149, 222 votes. This means that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has defeated President Goodluck Jonathan of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.More results from PDP strongholds are being expected .
